From installation to everyday use

A home for the skills you actually use.

Installing a skill is just the beginning. Skill Shelf helps you find it, understand it, and put it to work again.

See your local environment

See global and project skills together. Check which agents can use them and find broken links.

Organize like Finder

Create folders, drag skills into place, and select several at once. Your organization stays in the app.

Scan and update in one place

Check installed skills for updates and follow each operation in the task queue.

Read files and understand descriptions

Read Markdown and source files alongside the skill. Translate descriptions with your configured AI provider.

Discover skills in the client

Browse skills.sh collections from the desktop app. Review the install command before running it.

Reuse your own skills

Collect private project skills into local Packs. Copy or link them into the next project.

Take a look inside

Less searching. More making.

Your files, on your machine

Your skills stay yours.

Symlinks, direct folders, and agent relationships

A few useful answers

Good to know.

Is this a web app or a desktop app?

Skill Shelf is a desktop app. This website introduces the product and includes a preview with sample data. Your installed skills are managed in the desktop app.

Will organizing skills change my files?

Folders and categories are stored in Skill Shelf’s own app data. They do not rewrite SKILL.md. Installing, updating, removing, and deploying skills are separate file operations you choose to run.

Does AI translation send content to a service?

When you request a translation, the description is sent to the AI provider you configured. The translation is saved locally. Scanning and organizing your skills do not require AI.

How does Skill Shelf work with skills.sh?

Find Skills on skills.sh, then install and manage them in Skill Shelf. Organize your library, read files, and reuse collections across projects.

Make room for your next good skill.

A clearer view of what you have. A simpler way to use it again.
